Easter Monday Duo: A Designer’s Review of This Cute Display Font Pairing
Real-World Testing: How Easter Monday Duo Performed Across Brand Assets
- Logo Concept: Used the main font for the bakery name with the accent font for “Spring Specials.” It worked well as a seasonal variation but felt too playful for the main logo.
- Packaging Mockup: On a mockup of Easter cookie boxes, the font brought a soft, handcrafted feel. It paired nicely with pastel colors and illustrated Easter motifs.
- Business Card: At smaller sizes, the accent font lost some clarity, so I reserved it for larger format prints. The main font held up fine on standard business card text.
- Website Header: For the homepage hero section, the font looked great in a larger size with a light shadow effect. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for body text or navigation menus.
- Social Media Layout: On Instagram and Facebook posts, the font added a lively, seasonal tone. I used it for event announcements and Easter sale banners.
When to Use (and When Not to Use) Easter Monday Duo
- Body copy or long-form editorial design
- Corporate or formal branding systems
- Small print applications like footers or fine print
- Web navigation or mobile interfaces where clarity is key
